a couple weeks ago i had the honor of being apart of an amazing wedding.   it took place in a little town just north of san francisco in a place called “the peace barn”.  the town of bolinas is a small hippy town and i fell in love with it right away!   the wedding was gorgeous and it was because kiri did most details herself.   her sister-in-law, who is not a flourist, did all the flowers!  kiri + adam lit up the place and they were surrounded by just the people they love the most and you could feel that through out the day!  it was truly perfect.  thank you kiri + adam for allowing me to apart of it all and enjoy your large sneak peak (i could not narrow it down anymore, too many!)

I am headed out to arizona today.  i just got back from san francisco from the most fabulous wedding.  i was truly hoping to get it blogged before i left today, but it is not going to happen.  but watch out next week, because i have so much to blog about my trip!!  for now i will leave you with this teaser and say happy weekend!

i am a day late, but i just returned from San Francisco (i have SO much to share) and i am moving slow getting back into my groove again.  but today is work, work, work and first item of business is … jennifer + eric were featured on wedding chicks yesterday!   wedding chicks is the cutest blog and had real life brides who blog about their own wedding planning.   jennifer is one of those brides and she is so fun to follow.  you can follow her here.   she also has a really fun blog of her own as well that you can follow here.  jennifer + eric are getting married next year at the “oh so exciting” smogg shoppe!  i am so excited for their wedding  and am even more excited they choose me to be apart of it!    jennifer has the cutest style and i can only imaginge how much fun we will have on their wedding day!!!

yesterday jannie at the brides cafe featured andrea + wes engagement session!   i just adore the cafe and feel so honored to be a visitor there this week.   thank you jannie and everyone else … please check it out here!

i know i say every session is so fun, but it is because i have so much fun at what i do.  you can ask all my clients.  i get super excited and way to giddy.  i just am loving life!   but i will once again say, i was just loving this session with bethany + chris.  i just adore them!  they inroduced me to seal beach, which i have not stop raving about since last week.   they are such a fun couple, these photos show that.   they have so much fun together and were just so easy to work with.  when a couple can just be themselves, interact as if i am not even there - well, it just makes my day!   i want to capture a couple how they truly are and i loved this shoot because i truly feel this is bethany + chris.  casual, fun, friendly, and oh so easy to be around.   i cannot wait for their wedding next year at mammoth mountain.  thank you for a fun session and enjoy!

this session was so fun for so many reasons.  one was that i already knew andrea.  she went to my same highschool and i cheered with her older sister (yes i did cheer).   she is so beautiful inside and out, purely one of the sweetest people i know.  she came with her outfits all ready to go and wow, they were amazing.  i seriously was giddy when i saw her.   also, i pulled out all the props on this one.  andrea loves props, so i got into my stash and brought it all.  we had so much fun.  wes was such a trooper and did an amazing job.  i mean seriously they are gorgeous together.  

we went to downtown san diego and then we headed to del mar for a differnt kind of beach session. it was fun to finally do a session in san diego!   i loved how theses turned out.   i am so excited for their wedding next year.  you can only imagine how beautiful their la jolla wedding will be.   enjoy! 

charlene and andrew first contaced me about their disneyland wedding back in the spring.   i was living in utah so we set up ichat to talk and get to know eachother a bit (you have to love this technology right?!)   but this last weekend was their engagement session and the first time we were able to meet face to face.  i just love engagements session.  one they are just so fun for me and two, it gives me such a good chance to get to know my clients before the wedding.  

charlene + andrew are incredibly musical.  they wanted to incorporate some of this into their session.  when i heard charlene sing and andrew play the piano- it was incredible!   i met them up in malibu at an incredible modern home.   this was such a fun session!   thank you charlene + andrew and enjoy!

after we had fun at the house, we went down to the beach for some amazing lighting at sundown!  charlene+andrew are getting married in disneyland in november.  i am so excited to shoot their wedding there and they are just so fun, i know it wil be a good time.  so charlene brought some mickey mouse lollipops as props.

san diego has brought a lot of new and exciting things to me and my family but so far the funnest thing that has happened is the new addition we brought home last week.   meet jude.  she is about the funnest sweetest thing!  of course i have been crazy about taking pictures of her!  she is a now 9 week old golden retreiver.   i have been wanting to do a “we moved” announcement to all of our friends, updating our new address, so i took the kids down to the beach with jude for a little quick photo shoot.  here is the one i think i am going to use.

this is on our way to get jude.  we were at the pool and the lady called and i told us we could pick up jude one day early, so of course we packed up our stuff and went straight there!   don’t these kids look excited for a puppy?? (you got to love the pool hair)
